Anna Alvanou is a graduate of the Psychology Program of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a license to practice psychology. She attended postgraduate program entitled: psychoeducational Interventions- Behavioral Family Therapy in Psychosis Research Institute of Mental Health and of the Athens University Psychiatric Clinic and holds a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis specializing in Viothymiki Psychotherapy and Britain Diploma General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.
She has received training in "Separation Management - Parental Divorce" and "Diagnosis & Treatment of Mental Disorders: Applying Neuroscience to Music Therapy and Physical Psychotherapy" from the Center for Continuing Education and Training Cognitive, Psychodynamic, and Person-centered model that leads to a Masters Degree (MSc) from the University of Derby.
She works as a psychologist with individuals and groups in a private office and in a private center dedicated to the treatment of behavior of children, adolescents and adults. She has been a member of the Hellenic Center for Clinical Psychology in research work on topics such as: School Bullying, Attachment Theory, Psychotherapeutic Relationships, Couple and Family Psychotherapy, Parenting and Family.

- 2008-2009: Online counseling on the website of the Student Psychology Counseling Laboratory, National Kapodistrian University of Athens.
- 2010-2011: 6 Month Internship as a Psychologist at Community House "Thetis", Child and Adolescent Mental Health Association.
- 2011-2012: 6-month internship at Pallini Medical Center, Pediatric Psychiatric Hospital of Attica (PSNA).
- 2012-2013: Coordination of Psychoeducational Teams for Children on Stress Management, Social Partnership “We are playing now”.
- 2014-3 /07/2015: Private counseling and psychotherapy services under the name MindMe- Mental Health Science Center.
- 2014-2017: Providing counseling and psychotherapy services in a private setting.
