The Psychiatrist, Chrysostomos P. Karagiaouris studied at the UMF Medical School "Carol Davila" where he graduated with the grade degree "excellent".
He obtained a Master of Science from the Medical School of the University of Athens, after completing and graduating from the Postgraduate Program "Mental Health Promotion- Prevention of Mental Disorders", with Excellence.
He served as a Doctor at the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica (Dafni), at the 3rd PSTE where he was trained in the diagnosis and treatment of Major Mental Disorders, Urgent Psychiatry and recent Psychopharmacology.
He worked as a Physician at the "Aiginiteio" Hospital in the Department of Neurology at the University of Athens in the Department of Demyelinating Diseases (MS), Vascular Stroke, Degenerative Diseases and Neuroimaging (CT, MRI), with a special focus on diagnosis and treatment memory disorders, dementia and N. Alzheimer"s disease.
He has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment, pharmaceutical and psychotherapeutic, of all the spectrum of mental disorders, in the context of secondary and tertiary prevention, and of Community Psychiatry.
He has participated actively in introductory programs and seminars of Individual, Interpersonal and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
He actively pursues the specialization of Psychiatry in his private Mental Health Care Facility/clinic by addressing the whole range of Mental Disorders with the most modern psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic methods.
