I was born in Athens and graduated with a degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Crete. During my studies, I did internships at the Kiveli Foundation (Athens) as well as at the OKANA Prevention Center (Rethymnon).

At the end of my undergraduate studies, I volunteered to the Social Solidarity Network of Piraeus Prefecture for the homeless psychosocial support program.

During my military service, I worked as a psychologist at the Salamis Naval Hospital providing psychological support to recruits and young men.

My postgraduate specialization in Clinical Psychology took place at Indianapolis University, doing my thesis on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. After completing my postgraduate studies, I worked in the Adolescent Health Unit of the 2nd Pediatric Clinic University of Athens Children"s Hospital "P. & A. Kyriakou »where I was involved in psychological support and counseling for children and adolescents.

I am a licensed practitioner (No. 7723) and a member of the Association of Greek Psychologists (SE).

I have participated  in a variety of conferences and seminars in clinical psychology and psychiatry with the aim of continually improving my knowledge of psychology.

I am a research associate at psychologynow.gr, ygeiaonline.gr, boro.gr & happymom.gr. In recent years I have been working as a freelance professional and maintain my office in Glyfada.
