Dr. Margarita Gavriilidou- Psychologist, Psychotherapist
Margarita Gavriilidou studied Psychology and did her master"s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Hull in England. She then moved to Manchester Metropolitan University where she completed her doctoral dissertation on HIV. She is a member of the British Psychology Society (chartered member) as well as the Health and Care Professions Council of Great Britain.
In addition to her studies she has attended and continues to attend educational seminars on psychotherapeutic techniques (client-centered, Gestalt, cognitive-behavioral).
In the past she has worked with people with mental illnesses, people with chronic diseases (HIV / AIDS, cancer patients, cardiovascular diseases etc.), and people of old age. She has also worked as a research and teaching staff at Mancat College and has delivered a series of seminars in Greece and abroad.
She now works privately, providing individual counseling and psychotherapy on:• Management of chronic diseases.

- March 2004-June 2004: Teaching Psychology courses at a British college (MANCATCollege).
- 2003-2004: External partner at Allied Health Care in the UK: - Psychological support for patients in the highest security psychiatric ward. - Psychological support for people in a chemical addiction center. 2001-2007: Support for HIV-positive people at the Life Center Day Care Center (under the supervision of a responsible Psychologist.
