Athina Maximiadi is a Psychologist, a graduate of Panteion University and holds a Master"s Degree (MSc) in Health Psychology from the University of Surrey in England. 

She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy. She entered the field of clinical practice from the beginning of her studies, as a volunteer in mental strengthening activities in the Elderly Care Unit, while later she volunteered in a social rehabilitation unit for the mentally ill (PEPSAEE). 

For most of her studies, she volunteered at the "To Xamogelo tou Paidiou". During her studies, she was actively involved in Applied Behavioral Analysis, while before graduating she worked in a day center for children with autism spectrum disorders.

After her studies, she volunteered for the ATHENS PROGRAM, a structure of OKANA and the Aeginiteο Hospital for detoxification. She has worked at Byron College providing intervention to children with behavioral disorders and has collaborated with special treatment centers for children with developmental and behavioral disorders.

Since 2014, she has been cooperating with the Panhellenic Union Struggle against Juvenile Diabetes, offering psychological support services to parents of children with type 1 diabetes. 

She is a founding member of the Hellenic Behavioral Analysis Community and a certified associate of the Health Fund of the Bank of Greece and the private clinics ‘IASO,‘ MITERA ’and‘ MEDICAL CENTER - CLINIC Psychiko ’.
