Short Description
Ioannis Kakaflikas is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Bologna in 1983 and has been licensed to practice the medical profession in the respective region following an examination by the Italian Ministry of Education.
From 1983-1986 he served as a Doctor in the Navy. He then worked as a trainee at the Neurological Clinic of the General Hospital of Nikaia-Piraeus and then in the Psychiatric Sector of the same Hospital until 1990, continuing his specialization in Psychopharmacology at the Psychiatric Clinic of Athens General Peripheral Hospital "G. Gennimatas"
Since 1992 he has worked as Psychiatrist-Psychotherapist in his private clinic, while he worked as a curator at the Neuropsychiatric Clinic "Panagia Grigorousa" and "P. Blastos". He remains an External Medical Associate in other Psychiatric and General Clinics.
He has participated in World and other International and Greek Medical Conferences of Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology and has published articles and presentations of events in Scientific journals.
Session duration: 30-45 minutes.

- 1992-1998: Head of the Neuropsychiatric Clinic "Panagia Grigorousa".
- 2001-2004: Head of the Psychiatric Clinic of P.Vlastos.

Education
- University of Bologna, University of Degli Studi di Bologna, graduate of the Medical School of Surgery (1983), holder of a Medical Practice License in the Region of the Medical Association of Emilia-Romagna in the same year.
- He served as a Head of Doctor in the Naval Navy for one year and at the Piraeus Navy Hospital as an alternate member of the Higher Navy Health Committee (ANYE) and as a Public Accountant.
- Specialist in Neurology at the PGN of Nikaia-Piraeus in the corresponding Clinic (Doctor E. Terestios) and in Psychiatry for two years (Dnithus I.Rontos) until 9/1990.
- Continuing and receiving the specialty of psychiatry and in the Psychiatric Clinic of PGN "G. Gennimatas" and participating in the special program of psychopharmacology courses under the unexpected Katetis E. Garelis from 1990-9 / 1992.
