Emilia Kouri has been actively involved in the field of Psychology since a young age. She completed her studies in social subject at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and then moved on to a 2nd subject, getting a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Applied Psychology (University of Derby), one of the best Universities in Great Britain for studies. She has a 6-month university specialization in Criminological Psychology from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens & is for a 4-year Postgraduate training (Master, MSc program) in the Integrative Model of Psychotherapy (Person-Centered, Systemic, Relational Analytics, Athens). She has attended conferences, case studies & many seminars in the field of psychology, counseling & psychotherapy. She is a certified Psychologist and has a Professional License for the whole territory. Emilia has clinical professional experience at "Dromokaitio" Psychiatric Hospital & many years of experience in Institutes of Psychotherapy and Counseling.

She works as an adult psychologist and is also a lecturer in clinical psychology/ psychopathology seminars. At the same time, she has in her resume many hours of supervision & psychotherapy, aiming at her personal development, with responsibility and care for the people who trust her for their own personal improvement. 

She has been active in the voluntary part, coordinating non-profit psychosocial support groups, such as the fires in Mati, but also in the COVID-19 pandemic during the lock down period (online), in the context of social solidarity and the feeling of human responsibility. In the research field, she has conducted her own research in the context of a dissertation entitled "Mental Illness & Stigma" (2017). She also participated as a researcher in the research team created by the Athens Synthesis Center - Center for Lifelong Learning, with a broader research topic "Creativity & social responsibility / Creativity & social responsibility". At present, she has founded & is responsible for her private area of ​​Psychotherapy & Counseling "Soul Sign" in Athens.
